Name: Inderjeet Singh

Age: 26

Occupation: Service, working with Bank of America.

What inspired you towards Sewa?
Ans. Sewa is essential to cross this worldly ocean. It helps to forget self and helps in getting attached with supreme lord of the world. It’s the way to wash your sins and live your life as per Guru Command. Inspiration for sewa came through teaching’s of Guru Granth Sahib Jee. I am nothing, it’s because of Guru Jee Grace only that I am doing sewa of Khalsa Panth.

“hau moorakh Kaare Laaiyaa Nanak har kammey”.

Who is your role model, and Why?
Ans. I do not have any specific role model. I want to live my life as per the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Jee.

What other steps we can take to motivate youth towards Sikhi?
Ans. The only way to motivate others toward sikhi is by becoming a true Sikh, we can motivate only when we are following Guru ji’s command.

Many people have different experiences of how they came into Sikhi. Which way do you think is the best way to influence and encourage youth to learn more about their faith?
Ans. Charity begins at home. So this is only possible when parents will make their children aware about Sikhism and Sikh history, parents should take out some time out of their busy schedule and teach children about Sikhi. Puratan sikhs were following this method and sikhi was flourishing at their time, today parents don’t have time and are not providing any kind of moral education at home.

Please share your experiences while working with SikhiSidak.com
Ans. SikhiSidak provided me a platform to do sewa for Khalsa Panth. It’s been a wonderful experience for me till now, I can’t narrate it in words but my life has changed after joining SikhiSidak. My aim was to do selfless Sewa, without involving with any political parties and sikhisidak provided me that platform.

Thank you for taking the time to answer the above questions, and we hope you will continue to carry the torch of Sikhi and inspire others alike.
