Name:                Jagminder Singh

Age:                     24

Occupation:  Service (TDI Group)

_ Q. What inspired you towards Sewa?

Ans.  Guru’s Order. “Jo sukh parabh govind kee sayvaa so such raaj na laheeai”. The internal & mind peace obtained by serving lord inspires me towards sewa.

Q. Who is your role model, and Why?

Ans.  Akali Nihang Guru Gobind Singh ji.  In history of whole world there is no one who has all these qualities- Saint, Giver, and soldier.

Saint- Guru ji do non stop ik juug jap tap at Sri Hemkunt Sahib.

Giver- Guru ji sacrifices his father, sons & mother’s life to save humanity.

Soldier- Guru ji alone killed 1.25 lakhs mughals in battlefield.

Q. What other steps we can take to motivate youth towards Sikhi?

Ans.  We ourselves motivate youth towards sikhi. We should become role model for our next generation in professionalism, spiritualism both.  So the next step we should do more studies

Q. Many people have different experiences of how they came into Sikhi. Which way do you think is the best way to influence and encourage youth to learn more about their faith?

Ans.  By telling our history to youth which encourage youth. Sewa will influence.

Q. Please share your experiences while working with SikhiSidak.com

Ans. There are awesome experiences while doing sewa with Sikhi Sidak. In Khaador Sahib sangat of different villages fixed their duties for the sewa of langar & all.  In Aligarh met with one girl who is asking lots of questions from whom i learned a lot. In Jammu, we met an organization who gives piggy banks to put minimum one rupee daily as dasvandh.  All Volunteers of the group are very down to earth & I am full confident that one day guru will hug all of them like they hug Baba jujhar Singh Ji before sending him in battlefield of Chamkaur Sahib.

_Thank you for taking the time to answer the above questions, and we hope you will continue to carry the torch of Sikhi and inspire others alike.
